#Using Files in Diode Collab
Diode Collab enables secure, end-to-end encrypted file sharing, collaboration, and backup across devices like computers, phones, and Raspberry Pi without relying on cloud servers.
#Uploading Files from Phone to Computer
Open Diode Collab (also called Diode Drive), select a Zone, and create a sub-folder by clicking the box arrow icon. Check the box next to the folder, click the share icon, enable “Can Upload”, and save to generate a QR code. Scan the QR code with your phone’s browser to access a web portal for selecting and automatically uploading files, supporting any size or type.
#Sharing Files Securely
Create share links for specific files or folders with customizable permissions, allowing recipients to download or upload via password-protected web browsers without IT setup. Team members added to a Zone automatically sync files, ensuring availability even offline.
